AGU female staff honored

Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, wife of His Majesty the King and President of the Supreme Council of Women  delegated Deputy President of the Supreme Council of Women Dr. Shaikha Mariam bint Hassan Al Khalifa in honoring Arabian Gulf University (AGU)’s outstanding staff.

This royal honoring comes simultaneously with the Bahraini Women’s Day dedicated this year to the Bahraini Women in the Higher Education and Future Sciences field.

The following staff were honored Dr. Randa Hamada, Dr. Sabah Al Junaid, Dr. Asmaa Abahussain, Dr. Fatima Al Jassim, Dr. Reema Abdulrazzaq, Dr. Fadeela Al Mahroos and Dr. Eman Fareed.

AGU's President Dr. Khaled Abdulrahman Al Ohali hailed this honoring ascribed to the university’s keenness on attracting excellent qualifications and granting them opportunities to develop and realize achievements. He added that the ratio of females reached 39.3% that is 39 academicians and 43% that is 98 administrative staff reaching a total of 137 females.

 AGU continues to pursue its keen approach of employing postgraduate degree holders in its administrative staff thus reaching 98%, he added.
