Gas tanker overturns in RAK
Ras al-Khaimah : A disaster was averted in Ras Al Khaimah when gas tanker overturned on a roundabout, a newspaper reported on Thursday.
The Arabic language daily Albayan said the accident occurred on Fanous Rd at dawn on Thursday but no casualties or damage were reported.
It said police and civil defence men cordoned off the road for public safety, adding that the gas was transported to another tanker.
“The overturned tanker was towed away after all the gas was transported to another tanker sent by the company,” it said without giving details of the accident.
