Possible Neutron Bomb Strike in Yemen?

A video received from Yemen of an explosion has piqued the interest if nuclear weapons experts. The video, believed to be taken on May 20, was analyzed by pioneers in the field.

It is with very high probability that they have concluded the explosion was the result of a neutron bomb that could only have been an Israeli attack.

Jeff Smith, who is a nuclear physicist and former IAEA inspector, analysed the video and has the following to say, “It is not a conventional 2,000 pound bomb. It’s much bigger.”

Smith said that he pondered if it was a very large Mother of All Bombs (MOAB) bigger than 4,000 pounds. However, the maximum weight capacity by an F-15 or F-16 is about 2,000 pounds payload per bomb rack, making the deployment of a MOAB impossible.

“Lightning effect and duration of the fire ball being suspended in mid air and the very large mushroom cloud is the main give away,” the former IAEA inspector continued, “that is because it is being hit by neutrons from the nuclear fireball blast.”

Smith notes that the bomb delivery was most likely by an Israeli Air Force F-16 with a Saudi paint-job on the plane. “They are not even hiding their use anymore, they just don’t publicly admit it and the IAEA does nothing or says nothing. That is the true war crime. The UN just ignores it unless the US, France or GB complains…,” added the nuclear physicist.

As of now, “this is now the second known possible use of nukes in Yemen by Saudi Arabia,” noted Smith. However, Saudi has no F-16s. “The aircraft reported to be used to drop the bomb in Yemen were F-16s. Photos and acoustic signature confirms that the jet engines noise is from a single engine jet fighter of the F-16 type,” pondered Smith.

According to Global Research Founder Michel Chossudovsky , the MOAB or Mass Ordinance Penetrator (MOP) would be delivered with either a B-52 or a B-2 bomber due to its weight. The launching of a Mass Ordnance Penetrator (MOP) / MOAB does not need to be undertaken over Yemeni territory, noted Chossudovsky.

“However, the MOP explosion is similar to that recorded in the Yemen video,” he stated.

The explosion of the MOP and that of a tactical nuclear weapon such as the B61-11 are similar.

Both the MOP and the mini nukes are bunker-buster earth-penetrating bombs. The MOP, however, does have a nuclear warhead, continued Chossudovsky.

The US military contends that “mini-nukes” are “humanitarian bombs” and are “harmless to the surrounding civilian population because the explosion is underground.”

However, “the B61-11 is a bonafide thermonuclear nuclear bomb, a Weapon of Mass Destruction in the real sense of the word,” assured Chossudovsky.

Such a Nuclear Earth Penetrator can have a yield of up to a 1,000 kilotons, or seventy times a Hiroshima bomb. “In all cases, the radioactive fallout is devastating,” said Chossudovsky.
