Beijing: China has begun considering humanoid robots as a solution to its changing workforce and growing demand for automation. The government is moving beyond spectacular demonstrations to test robots in industries, logistics, retail, hospitality, and other workplaces.
More than 300 businesses are displaying the latest breakthroughs at Beijing's World Robot Conference, as developers rush to make humanoids more capable, reliable, and financially viable.
Investor interest is likewise growing. Unitree, a Chinese humanoid manufacturer, boosted their shares nearly 6 times on Wednesday after making its Shanghai debut, indicating growing investor confidence in the area.
