Kuwaiti Foreign Minister meets Pakistan Army Chief in Islamabad
Kuwait’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, held talks with Pakistan’s Chief of Army Staff and Commander of the Defence Forces, Field Marshal Asim Munir, during his official visit to Islamabad on Wednesday.
The meeting reviewed the long-standing and historic relations between Kuwait and Pakistan, with both sides highlighting the importance of expanding cooperation and strengthening coordination across various fields.
Discussions focused particularly on defence and security cooperation, emphasizing enhanced bilateral ties and advancing shared interests between the two friendly nations.
The two sides also exchanged views on the latest regional developments, efforts to reduce tensions, and initiatives aimed at promoting security and stability in the region.
Sheikh Jarrah expressed Kuwait’s appreciation for Pakistan’s active diplomatic efforts in supporting regional peace and stability. He reaffirmed the importance of continued consultation and cooperation between the two countries.
