Seoul: South Korean President Lee Jae Myung said the country should grab the spike in tax income created by the artificial intelligence sector as a ‘golden window’ to make long-term investments that boost the economy.
Speaking on Monday, Lee said the government must channel the additional tax cash into vital sectors such as AI infrastructure, research and development, and workforce training to strengthen South Korea's global competitiveness. He emphasised that rather than depending on short-term spending, the chance should be seized to position the nation for future economic success.
