FUJIFILM Middle East Launches Women4Women Initiative in Region

Purpose-driven leadership platform brings together women leaders to inspire confidence, mentorship and meaningful change

FUJIFILM Middle East has launched the first Middle East edition of its Women4Women initiative, bringing together women from diverse industries to share their experiences and promote purpose-driven leadership.

Held at FUJIFILM Middle East Scientific FZ in Expo City Dubai, the event gathered FUJIFILM employees alongside women from the Expo City community, including representatives from Terra – The Sustainability Pavilion and the Women's Pavilion, for a morning of networking, discussions and leadership insights.

Under the theme "Women Creating Impact Through Purpose and Leadership," the event featured conversations on confidence, career reinvention, mentorship and leadership, highlighting how women are creating positive change across sectors ranging from environmental conservation and photography to healthcare innovation.

Originally launched in Europe in 2020, Women4Women was created to spotlight women's stories, aspirations and achievements. The inaugural Middle East edition featured three speakers whose careers reflected different approaches to purpose-driven leadership: Georgina Pereira, a desert ecologist and fungal conservation specialist; entrepreneur and photographer Yana Tsi; and Ghiwa Khoury, Marketing Manager at FUJIFILM Healthcare Middle East.

Reshma Keshava, Marketing & Corporate Communications Manager at FUJIFILM Middle East, said the initiative aims to create a space where women can connect through authentic conversations beyond professional titles.

"True inspiration comes from shared experiences, resilience and honest dialogue. We want to create an environment where everyone feels heard, supported and empowered to lead with purpose," she said.

During the discussion, Georgina Pereira reflected on her transition from a legal career to desert ecology and fungal conservation, explaining how her passion for nature led her to champion one of the world's most overlooked ecosystems. She highlighted the role of science, education and storytelling in promoting environmental conservation.

Yana Tsi shared her journey from the corporate sector to entrepreneurship and photography, speaking about the courage needed to embrace change and build a career rooted in creativity and authenticity. She also discussed the importance of personal branding and visual storytelling in helping women express their identity with confidence.

Ghiwa Khoury spoke about her professional journey through advertising, banking and healthcare, describing how each experience strengthened her leadership skills and sense of purpose. She also shared insights into building credibility in traditionally male-dominated industries while balancing career ambitions and family life.

The event concluded with networking sessions, portrait photography and Instax photo experiences, giving participants the opportunity to connect and exchange ideas.

Following the successful regional debut, FUJIFILM Middle East said it plans to expand Women4Women as an ongoing platform that encourages dialogue, inspiration and collaboration among women across the Middle East.
