Tanker Vessel Damaged After Projectile Strike, Crew Safe
A tanker vessel has been damaged after being struck by an unidentified projectile, according to the UK Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO).
The vessel’s master reported that the incident caused damage to the ship’s bridge. All crew members on board are confirmed safe, and no environmental damage has been reported so far.
UKMTO said authorities are investigating the incident and advised vessels operating in the area to transit with caution.
Maritime operators have also been urged to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity to UKMTO.
