Jordan condemns Iranian attacks on Kuwait, Bahrain

Jordan on Wednesday condemned the Iranian attacks that targeted civilian and vital facilities in Bahrain and Kuwait, including Kuwait International Airport, calling them a "flagrant" violation of the two nations' sovereignty.

The Foreign Ministry issued a statement describing the strikes as a threat to the security, stability and territorial integrity of Bahrain and Kuwait, as well as a stark breach of international law and the UN Charter.

The ministry affirmed Jordan's absolute solidarity with Bahrain and Kuwait, reiterating the Kingdom's full support for all measures taken by the two nations to protect their sovereignty, security, citizens and residents.

The ministry also expressed its deepest condolences and sympathy to the government and people of Kuwait following the death of one person resulting from the attacks, wishing a speedy recovery to those injured.
