Kuwait Armed Forces Intercept Hostile Drones in National Airspace
The Kuwait Armed Forces announced that several hostile drones were detected within Kuwaiti airspace and intercepted in accordance with approved military procedures.
According to the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA), Kuwait’s air defence systems successfully identified and responded to the drones as part of ongoing efforts to safeguard national security.
Saud Al Atwan, spokesperson for the Ministry of Defence of Kuwait, said the Armed Forces remain fully prepared to protect the country and ensure the safety and security of citizens and residents.
The statement did not provide further details regarding the origin of the drones or the exact locations where the interceptions took place.
