GCC Secretary General Condemns Iranian Attacks on UAE and Kuwait
Jasem Mohamed Albudaiwi, Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), strongly condemned the Iranian attacks targeting the United Arab Emirates and the Kuwait.
In a statement issued from Riyadh, Albudaiwi said the Iranian approach reflects a systematic attempt to destabilise the region and undermine regional security and stability.
He described the attacks as a clear violation of international law, the United Nations Charter and the principles of good neighbourliness.
The GCC Secretary General reaffirmed the full support of GCC member states for the UAE and Kuwait in all measures undertaken to safeguard their security and stability, as well as the safety of citizens and residents.
Albudaiwi also stressed the importance of regional cooperation and collective efforts to confront threats affecting Gulf security and stability.
