ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Cricket Board has announced that Australia will tour Pakistan for a three-match One-Day International (ODI) series starting in late May 2026. This series serves as a crucial preparation for both teams ahead of the 2027 World Cup, which will be co-hosted by South Africa, Zimbabwe, and Namibia.

The tour marks Australia's first bilateral ODI series in Pakistan since 2022, following a recent T20 encounter earlier this year in which the hosts secured a dominant 3-0 victory.

The Australian squad is scheduled to arrive in Islamabad on May 23. The first ODI will take place at Rawalpindi Stadium on May 30, before the series moves to Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore for the second and third matches on June 2 and June 4.

To mitigate the impact of the region's intense summer heat, all matches are scheduled to commence at 4:30 pm local time. This series represents a significant opportunity for Australia to test their 50-over capabilities as they prepare to defend their world title next year.
