The National Guard of Kuwait has denied reports circulating on social media suggesting a possible radiation leak, confirming that all recorded readings in the air and territorial waters remain within normal levels.
In a statement reported by the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA), the official spokesperson of the National Guard, Brigadier General Jadaan Fadel, clarified that the specialised teams at the Sheikh Salem Al-Ali Center for Chemical Defence and Radiation Monitoring are continuously monitoring the situation in coordination with relevant state authorities to ensure public safety.
