Iran has said it will continue its missile attacks for as long as necessary amid the escalating conflict with the United States. The statement came from Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, who indicated that Tehran is prepared to sustain its military response.

Speaking to the US broadcaster PBS News on Tuesday, Araghchi said Iran would not halt its missile operations and warned that the country was ready to continue its strikes for as long as required.

He also dismissed the possibility of negotiations with Washington, saying talks with the United States were no longer on the agenda. The comments come despite claims by US President Donald Trump that the war with Iran could end “very soon.”

Araghchi’s remarks signal that Tehran is not currently considering diplomatic engagement and intends to maintain its military pressure as tensions between the two countries continue to rise.
