Qatar Airways has announced that its flight operations remain temporarily suspended due to the continued closure of Qatari airspace. The airline confirmed that normal services will resume only after the Qatar Civil Aviation Authority declares the airspace safe and officially reopens it.
The airline stated that a further operational update will be issued on March 6 at 09:00 Doha time (06:00 UTC), providing passengers with the latest information regarding the resumption of flights.
To assist travelers affected by the disruption, Qatar Airways will operate a limited number of relief flights starting March 5 to support passengers stranded across the region.
The planned relief services include flights:
From Muscat to London Heathrow, Berlin, Copenhagen, Madrid, Rome, and Amsterdam
From Riyadh to Frankfurt
Passengers have been advised not to go to the airport unless they receive an official notification from Qatar Airways confirming their travel on these special flights.
The airline said it will contact affected passengers directly with their assigned flight details, travel arrangements, and further instructions. Travelers are also urged to ensure their contact information is up to date through the Qatar Airways website or the airline’s mobile application to receive important flight updates.
