USCENTCOM Commander Visits Jordan to Strengthen Military Cooperation
During his first tour of the Middle East as USCENTCOM commander, Admiral Brad Cooper visited Jordan to meet with Maj. Gen. Yousef Huneiti, senior officers of the Jordanian Armed Forces (JAF), and the U.S. Defense Attaché in Amman at the JAF General Command headquarters.
The officials discussed ways to enhance bilateral military cooperation and addressed regional security challenges. Army Chief Huneiti highlighted Jordan’s commitment to partnership and operational readiness, while Admiral Cooper praised the country’s vital role in maintaining regional stability and expressed interest in expanding future collaboration.
