Dubai’s 1 Billion Followers Summit 2026 Unveils Five Global Ambassadors

The upcoming fourth edition of the 1 Billion Followers Summit has announced five world-famous content creators as ambassadors, highlighting its mission to empower storytellers and shape the future of the digital economy.

The event, organised by the UAE Government Media Office under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, will be held from January 9 to 11, 2026, across Jumeirah Emirates Towers, DIFC, and the Museum of the Future. This year’s theme is “Content for Good”, and it is expected to attract creators with a combined audience of more than 3 billion followers worldwide.

Meet the Ambassadors

  • Simon Squibb – An entrepreneur and investor with more than 100 companies to his name, Simon is one of the most-followed business creators online. He now focuses on helping people start businesses for free through his platform, HelpBnk.

  • Alexandra Mary Hirschi (“Supercar Blondie”) – Based in Dubai, Alexandra has built a global media empire with over 100 million followers. Her story reflects Dubai’s role as a launch pad for digital talent.

  • Khalid Al Ameri – A UAE creator known for heartfelt videos about culture, relationships, and social issues. His relatable storytelling has earned him millions of followers worldwide.

  • Omar Farooq – A Bahraini content creator famous for his “Omar Tries” series, exploring cultures and humanitarian stories. His YouTube channel has surpassed 1.2 billion views.

  • Ammar Kandil – Co-founder of Yes Theory, a global movement inspiring people to embrace discomfort, courage, and meaningful connections through powerful storytelling and adventures.

New Initiatives

The summit will also introduce groundbreaking initiatives:

  • A $1 million global prize for AI-generated films – the largest of its kind.

  • A Dh50 million Creators Ventures Program to support new ideas in digital media.

  • A Content Creation Companies Pavilion to showcase start-ups in the growing content economy.
