Macron Backs Bayrou Ahead of Confidence Vote

French President Emmanuel Macron has expressed his full support for Prime Minister François Bayrou, who plans to seek a confidence vote from a divided parliament next month.
Speaking after a cabinet meeting on Wednesday, a government spokeswoman said Macron also urged all political parties in France “to act responsibly” during this critical period.
The vote, seen as risky due to divisions in parliament, will test Bayrou’s ability to maintain support and lead the government effectively.
