The Health Ministry in Gaza, which is under Hamas administration, announced on Tuesday that more than 60,000 people have been killed since the start of the Israel-Hamas war, which has now lasted nearly 22 months.
According to the ministry, 60,034 people have lost their lives and 145,870 others have been injured since the conflict began on October 7, 2023.
The war has left neighborhoods in ruins and forced thousands of families to flee their homes, with hospitals struggling to cope with the growing number of casualties.
