Pakistan Reopens Airspace Following Ceasefire Agreement with India

Pakistan has fully reopened its airspace for all types of flights following a ceasefire agreement with India, a spokesperson from the Pakistan Airports Authority (PAA) confirmed on Saturday.

“Pakistan’s airspace has been fully reopened for all types of flights,” the PAA said in an official statement. “All airports in the country are now available for normal flight operations.”

The PAA also advised passengers to check directly with their airlines for the latest flight schedules and updates.

The move came shortly after U.S. President Donald Trump announced that India and Pakistan had agreed to a “full and immediate ceasefire” following a night of talks reportedly mediated by the United States.

In a statement posted on his Truth Social account and later shared on X (formerly Twitter), President Trump expressed his satisfaction with the agreement. “After a long night of discussions, I’m pleased to announce that both nations have agreed to a full and immediate ceasefire,” he said. He praised both countries for demonstrating “common sense and great intelligence” in resolving tensions.

The reopening of Pakistan's airspace is expected to restore regional and international flight routes disrupted by the recent escalation.
