Mathemagica – Mathematics week at NMS

The students of New Millennium School along with the passionate mathematics teachers, celebrated the Mathematics Week from 21st to 25th September 2025, with great zest and zeal. The week titled as “Mathemagica’ aimed at exploring t and kindling the flame of inquiry, logical reasoning and problem solving in Mathematics.
Be it the specular assemblies connecting Math to everyday life or the super mind-boggling questions that tickled the Math geniuses, Math week celebrations saw Math coming to life through the plethora of activities and engaging classroom teaching learning designs.
Children added their creativity to Math by making 3D shapes using simple paper, making graphical designs, playing with numbers, making their own mathematical models, having fun with shapes, connecting Math to beautiful craft designs and patterns and envisioning a world that is filled with geometric similarities, constructions and theorems. Children participated in a ‘beyond the book’ activity and went for a nature walk to observe and explore the real life applications of mathematical concepts.
