Bhavans- Bahrain Indian School (BIS) marked World Peace Day 2025, themed ‘ACT NOW FOR A PEACEFUL WORLD’, with a heartwarming celebration that emphasized the values of harmony, compassion, and global unity. The event witnessed active participation from the Kindergarten students, who demonstrated their commitment to fostering a peaceful world.

Dressed in white attire symbolizing purity and peace, the young learners created an inspiring visual display with handmade flashcards bearing thoughtful messages of peace. The students also engaged in a collective prayer for world peace, reflecting their understanding of empathy, goodwill, and the importance of nurturing harmony in society.

Adding a creative dimension to the celebrations, the children participated in various craft activities, allowing them to express their vision of a harmonious world through art. The event not only highlighted the students’ artistic talents but also instilled the importance of peaceful co-existence from an early age.

Mr. Himanshu Verma, and Mrs. Ritu Verma, the directors of Bahrain Indian School, expressed immense pride in the young learners, enthusiasm, stating, “At BIS, we believe that instilling values such as peace, compassion, and understanding begins at the earliest stages of education. Witnessing our Kindergarten students embrace these ideals through creative expression and heartfelt prayers is truly inspiring. Principal, Mr. Saji Jacob also shared his thoughts on the occasion, noting, “It is heartening to see our youngest learners embrace the values of peace with such sincerity and creativity. Events like these cultivate compassion, understanding, and a sense of global responsibility in our students.”
