Bella Hadid Hospitalised Amid Lyme Disease Struggle
Model Bella Hadid has been hospitalised. The 28-year-old, who was diagnosed with Lyme disease at age 16, shared photos of herself lying in a hospital bed connected to IVs. She captioned the post: “I’m sorry I always go MIA. I love you guys.”
While Bella did not confirm the reason for her hospital stay, her mother Yolanda Hadid, 61, commented: “Lyme warrior.” Her sister Gigi Hadid, 30, also expressed support, writing: “I love you! I hope you feel as strong and good as you deserve, soon!”
Alongside her hospital photos, Bella shared images of a double rainbow and scenic landscapes. Recently, she spoke candidly about her ongoing struggles with Lyme disease, revealing that even taking a shower can be “excruciatingly painful.”
In an interview with Vogue, Bella said, “I think nobody really understands chronic illness. It’s hard to take a shower most days. If I manage to shower and make myself breakfast, I see that as an accomplishment.”
