Sony INZONE H9 II Named Official Headset Partner of VALORANT Champions Tour

Sony has announced that its INZONE H9 II gaming headset has been selected as the Official Headset Partner of the VALORANT Champions Tour EMEA (VCT EMEA), the premier esports competition for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.

The partnership places the INZONE H9 II at the heart of competitive VALORANT, where precise audio cues, clear communication, and low-latency performance are critical to success. During Stage 1 of VCT EMEA, all competing players used the INZONE H9 II on stage, supporting communication between teammates while helping them remain focused in high-pressure environments by reducing external noise distractions.

Esports continues to grow rapidly across the Middle East, with major hubs such as Riyadh and Dubai becoming central to the region’s competitive gaming scene. Sony highlighted that the headset was designed to match this rising competitive spirit, emphasizing high performance without compromise.

“Being part of VCT EMEA is something we’re genuinely excited about, and we can’t wait for fans across the Middle East and Africa to experience what this headset can do on one of the region’s biggest stages,” said Mahesh Kodoth, General Manager, Personal Entertainment Marketing, Sony Middle East and Africa.

The INZONE H9 II was developed in collaboration with Fnatic, one of the world’s leading esports organizations. It is engineered specifically for competitive communication, featuring an AI-optimized microphone designed to reduce background noise and ensure clear voice transmission during gameplay. The headset also integrates with Sony’s INZONE Hub PC software, allowing players to fine-tune equalizer settings developed with Fnatic for VALORANT-specific performance.

Boaster, captain of Fnatic’s VALORANT team, praised the collaboration, saying: “Helping Sony INZONE over the last few years build their headset has been an insane experience. I am really proud of what we created together. I use it every day at home, and now I get to use it in tournaments as well—it’s a perfect setup for me.”

The partnership will also feature TenZ, who will appear in Sony INZONE content activations throughout the 2026 VCT season, including behind-the-scenes features and social media campaigns.
