Emirates Tops Middle East Airline Rankings at 2026 APEX Awards

Emirates has been named Best Overall Airline in the Middle East at the 2026 APEX Best in Airline Awards, reinforcing its position as one of the world's leading airlines for customer experience.

The award was presented during a ceremony held in Dublin, Ireland, and was based on verified passenger feedback evaluating airlines across key aspects of the travel experience.

Emirates received high ratings in five major categories: seat comfort, cabin service, food and beverage, inflight entertainment, and connectivity.

The airline's continued investment in passenger comfort played a significant role in securing the award. Customers praised the spacious cabins and seating available across the airline’s Airbus A380, Airbus A350 and Boeing 777 fleets. Emirates is also continuing its fleet retrofit programme, introducing upgraded cabin interiors and new-generation seating designed to enhance passenger comfort on long-haul journeys.

Premium Economy and Business Class products were particularly recognised for offering greater space, enhanced privacy and upgraded amenities, while Emirates First Class continued to earn praise for its private suites and luxury travel experience.

The airline was also commended for its cabin crew service. Emirates’ multicultural workforce, representing more than 140 nationalities and speaking over 70 languages, delivers personalised service supported by extensive hospitality training programmes.

In addition, Emirates’ onboard dining experience received strong passenger ratings. The airline offers a wide range of international cuisine, destination-inspired menus and special dietary options across all cabin classes. Premium Economy, Business Class and First Class customers benefit from enhanced dining experiences featuring premium beverages and gourmet meal selections.

The recognition highlights Emirates’ ongoing commitment to innovation and service excellence as it continues to invest in its products and customer experience across its global network.
