Bruno Mars Kicks Off World Tour with Grand Las Vegas Celebration

Global superstar Bruno Mars launched his highly anticipated world tour in spectacular fashion as Las Vegas honored him with a star-studded parade and a special city tribute.

The singer, who is beginning his “Romantic Tour,” was celebrated along the iconic Las Vegas Strip, where he rode in a pink low-rider surrounded by showgirls as crowds gathered to cheer. City officials declared the day “Bruno Mars Day” and unveiled a newly named street, Bruno Mars Drive, recognizing his lasting impact on the entertainment capital.

Mars, who has performed in Las Vegas for over 15 years, has built a strong legacy with more than 140 shows during his residency from 2016 to 2025. His continued connection to the city, including the opening of his lounge “The Pinky Ring” at the Bellagio, has cemented his status as one of its modern icons.

The celebration marked the official start of his global tour, which is expected to draw massive audiences worldwide following the Las Vegas opener at Allegiant Stadium. Fans got a preview of what’s to come as Mars performed alongside his band, delivering a high-energy set.

In addition to the festivities, Mars announced a $1 million donation to a local children’s hospital, matched by MGM Resorts International, further highlighting his connection to the city.

Often compared to legends like Elvis Presley and Frank Sinatra, Mars is now being hailed as the “new king of Las Vegas,” blending classic showmanship with modern global appeal as he takes his tour to audiences around the world.
