flydubai adds double-daily Bangkok flights

flydubai has announced the launch of double-daily flights to Bangkok, marking its second destination in Thailand and increasing its weekly operations in the country to 28 flights. The new service will begin on 15 September 2026, flying from Terminal 3 at Dubai International Airport (DXB) to Don Mueang International Airport (DMK).

The addition of Bangkok complements flydubai’s existing route to Krabi, making it the carrier’s fourth destination in Southeast Asia alongside Langkawi and Penang in Malaysia. Don Mueang Airport, located just north of Bangkok city centre, serves as a key gateway for both business and leisure travellers, offering easy access to the Thai capital and surrounding regions.

Hamad Obaidalla, Chief Commercial Officer at flydubai, said: “Thailand remains a highly popular destination for leisure and business travel. The launch of our double-daily service to Bangkok reflects strong demand and demonstrates our commitment to providing convenient, flexible travel options. Operating from Terminal 3 at Dubai International and in codeshare with Emirates, passengers can enjoy seamless connectivity through Dubai’s world-class aviation hub.”

Sudhir Sreedharan, Divisional Senior Vice President of Commercial Operations at flydubai, added: “We are delighted to strengthen our presence in Thailand and look forward to welcoming passengers on board for a comfortable experience in both Economy and Business Class.”

flydubai continues to expand its network to over 135 destinations worldwide, reinforcing Dubai’s position as a global aviation hub. Passengers can enjoy upgraded onboard services, including comfortable seating, international-inspired meals, and a wide range of in-flight entertainment.
