Emirates Expands London Heathrow Flights to Meet Growing Demand

Emirates, the world’s largest international airline, is increasing travel options for passengers with six additional weekly flights to London Heathrow, starting 26 October 2025.

The move comes ahead of the busy year-end travel season, following record growth and rising demand. The expanded winter schedule offers travellers more flexibility and convenient departure times for journeys to and from London.

Emirates already operates six daily flights to and from London Heathrow, all served by its flagship Airbus A380. The new winter flights, running on all days except Fridays, will use the Boeing 777-300ER, providing over 350 seats in a three-class configuration—First, Business, and Economy.

The additional services are strategically timed to connect London with popular onward destinations including Durban, Phuket, Kuala Lumpur, Hong Kong, Beijing, Shenzhen, Guangzhou, and Jakarta. Passengers from West Asia, China, and the Middle East—including cities such as Ahmedabad, Lahore, Maldives, Hyderabad, Chennai, Bahrain, Dammam, and Riyadh—will also benefit from convenient connections.

Flight EK41 will depart Dubai at 13:40hrs on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday, arriving in London at 17:40hrs. Its return flight, EK42, departs London at 22:35hrs on Monday, Wednesday, and Sunday, arriving in Dubai at 09:35hrs the following day. On Tuesday and Saturday, EK42 departs London at 21:20hrs, arriving in Dubai at 08:20hrs the next day. On Thursdays, EK41 leaves Dubai at 12:55hrs, arriving in London at 16:55hrs, with EK42 returning at 21:20hrs. All times are local.

Customers can book tickets through emirates.com, the Emirates App, retail stores, contact centres, or via travel agents.

The expanded London services, including Heathrow and Gatwick, will increase Emirates’ total weekly flights to 90 by early next year. A fourth daily flight to London Gatwick, operated by the airline’s new Airbus A350, is scheduled to begin on 8 February 2026.

By February 2026, Emirates will operate 146 weekly flights across its UK network, covering three London airports—Heathrow, Gatwick, and Stansted—as well as regional gateways including Manchester, Birmingham, Newcastle, Glasgow, and Edinburgh.

Emirates promises a premium onboard experience, featuring regionally inspired multi-course meals prepared by award-winning chefs, a wide selection of beverages, and its award-winning inflight entertainment system, ice, offering over 6,500 channels including movies, TV shows, music, podcasts, games, and audiobooks.
