HH Shaikh Khalid receives international weightlifting chief

Supreme Council for Youth and Sports first deputy chairman, General Sports Authority (GSA) president and Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC) chief His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa received at his office yesterday International Weightlifting Association president Mohammed Hasan Jalood.
Also in attendance were GSA vice-president HH Shaikh Salman bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, GSA CEO Dr Abdulrahman Askar, BOC secretary general Faris Al Kooheji and Bahrain Weightlifting Federation president Ishaq Ibrahim.
HH Shaikh Khalid and Jalood discussed various topics of mutual interest, including Bahrain’s hosting of the Asian Weightlifting Championship in October.
Jalood expressed his deep thanks and appreciation to HH Shaikh Khalid for the hospitality and warm reception he has received, and praised the efforts of Bahrain in supporting the sport of weightlifting.
