Arsenal Soccer School Bahrain (ASSB) has a vision to promote a positive learning environment while developing players’ skills and technical abilities and is proud of all its achievements and fruitful years of success on both the national and international level since its establishment in January 2009.
The school is also thrilled at the high level of the local Bahraini turnout, which exceeds 70 per cent of the players aged between 4 and 18 years.
In the summer of 2009, ASSB took part in the annual Arsenal International Soccer Festival in London, bagging several medals and awards for players under 16 years old. Up to date, the international participation has been continued at many international tournaments and events including the UK, US and Spain, where they have consistently come back with silverware.
ASSB started back in January 2010 with a huge festival as an official launching of the school’s activities, followed by launching the school’s training seasons of teaching students to ‘Play the Arsenal Way’, with the coaching methods of concentrating on enhancing skills and boosting abilities. Furthermore, in January 2012, the school organised a Charity Cup tournament to help children with diabetes in collaboration with various local leagues clubs.
At the national level, ASSB had successfully participated at National tournament for U12’s in November 2010 winning the competition. Additionally, in 2011 the school participated in the Bahrain Football Association (BFA) ‘National Charter Day’ event where 10 players nominated as top talents, the most in any ‘team’.
