Nandinho Linked With Premier League Club

A leading club in the Nasser bin Hamad Premier League has placed Portuguese coach Fernando Santos, known as ‘Nandinho’, among its main options to lead its first team in the 2026-27 season.
The move comes after Nandinho decided not to continue with Muharraq and expressed a wish to take on a new challenge, making him a target for clubs seeking an experienced coach with strong knowledge of Bahraini football.
Nandinho led Muharraq to a domestic double last season, restoring the league shield to the club’s trophy cabinet in his first campaign after a six-season wait.
The club is expected to seek a quick decision in the coming days as it looks to settle its coaching plans early and begin preparations for the new season in line with its supporters' expectations and ambitions to compete.
