Bader Al Dosari claimed a decisive victory in the latest Club Stableford competition, scoring an outstanding 42 points in what were described as excellent playing conditions, potentially marking the last burst of humidity before cooler weather arrives. The closely contested tournament saw a high number of players performing at or above their handicaps. Al Dosari’s winning performance came courtesy of a phenomenal round, highlighted by a front nine of just one over par off his 12 handicap.
His total of 42 Stableford points translated into a gross score of 76, which the winner noted was his best ever score at the venue.
Raghav Talwar finished as the runner-up with a fantastic 41 points, a score that would typically be enough to secure a victory in most competitions. Rashed Al Qutami took third place with a solid 39 points, followed closely by Yousif Ali Al Binkhalil, who secured fourth place with 38 points.
Mohammed Ali Al Kowari placed fifth, scoring 37 points with a disciplined round that included only two bogeys, one birdie, and the remaining holes played to par. The final two prizes were decided by countback, with Zuzar Madarwala taking sixth place and Julie McLean placing seventh, both scoring 36 points.
