ISB holds Graduation Day
The Indian School Bahrain (ISB) has honoured the largest batch of CBSE class 12 students in the Kingdom in a graduation ceremony that marked the end of their schooling, and the beginning of the next stage of their education. Attired in formal navy blue, black graduation cap and a symbolic badge, more than 640 students lined up for the ceremony rendering a spectacular sight to the spectators. The school’s multi-purpose hall opened its doors to welcome the graduating students and ushered them in with a ceremonial band on the evening of last Thursday.
Among the audience were tens of hundreds of parents. School Chairman Prince Natarajan inaugurated the event. Principal V R Palaniswamy welcomed the gathering. The graduating students received their certificates from school Secretary Dr. Shemily P John, members: Bhupinder Singh, S K Ramachandran, Jayafar Maidani and Staff representative Priya Laji. Most of the students are preparing to leave the Kingdom for many prestigious universities in India, UK, USA, Australia and UAE.
