Talks on Bahrain and Saudi labour market growing cooperation

Bahrain and Saudi Arabia discussed strengthening cooperation in various fields, especially in organising the labour market and employment issues.
This came as Labour Minister Jameel bin Mohammed Humaidan met the Saudi President of the General Authority for Statistics (GASTAT), Dr Fahad bin Abdullah Al Dosari, and his accompanying delegation.
Humaidan briefed Dr Al Dosari on the systems applied in providing services for job seekers and employers. He highlighted the electronic system that regulates all recruitment processes, vacancies, nominations, data of registration, data of employers, and criteria for matching the qualifications of job seekers with the vacancies offered.
The Minister said that the operations are done automatically in partnership with the Information and e-Government Authority and the General Authority for Social Insurance to achieve electronic interconnection with various government agencies. The operations accuracy has led to a reduction in the documents required for researchers and employers, he added.
