BTEA concludes Travel Market participation on a high note

The Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority (BTEA) concluded its participation in the 26th edition of the Arabian Travel Market 2019, held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates from 28 April to 1 May 2019, on a high note. Bahrain’s participating delegation was headed by Shaikh Khaled bin Humood Al Khalifa, CEO of the Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority, and also included officials from the Authority, Gulf Air and Bahrain Airport Company in addition to representatives from leading hotels, tour operators and travel agencies.

Shaikh Khaled bin Humood Al Khalifa, CEO of the Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority, commented: “We have managed, through participating in this huge event, to strengthen our relationships with many fellow countries by reaching out to many governmental bodies and private corporates, which in turn aided in promoting the attractive tourism characteristics attributed to the Kingdom.”

The Arabian Travel Market provides a unique platform involving a series of seminars and meetings that will address many aspects of the travel industry. This year’s edition featured 500 exhibitors, with an estimate of more than 39,000 visitors who attended over four consecutive days.
