BisB receives Al Bilad Grand Prize Award for CSR 2025

Bahrain Islamic Bank (BisB), the leading provider of innovative Islamic financial solutions for simplifying money matters in the Kingdom of Bahrain, has received the Grand Prize at the fourth edition of Al Bilad’s 2025 Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Award ceremony, held under the patronage of His Excellency Shaikh Khalid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, the Deputy Prime Minister. The recognition underscores the Bank’s commitment to empowerment, diversity, and fairness across its mission and operations.

The accolade acknowledges BisB’s comprehensive approach to CSR, in line with the Kingdom’s development goals and global sustainability frameworks. Through a broad spectrum of initiatives spanning social welfare, environmental stewardship, financial inclusion, women’s advancement, and strategic partnerships, the Bank has established a pioneering model for how Islamic finance can create tangible impact within society.

This well-earned recognition comes as a result of the Bank’s successful implementation of a wide range of impactful initiatives, spanning key pillars of Corporate Social Responsibility. These include volunteerism, charitable and environmental efforts, financial literacy and inclusion pro - grams, as well as empowering women across various domains.

Environmental responsibility was also a key component, with efforts focusing on carbon footprint reduction, green technology adoption, and staff awareness. The Bank advanced projects such as solar installations, recycled-material cards, and Kingdom-wide recycling drives, while reinforcing its collaborations with government entities and civil society organisations to amplify national impact.
