BisB Concludes the Successful Fourth Edition of the “Future Leaders Summer Camp”

Bahrain Islamic Bank (BisB) successfully concluded the fourth edition of its “Future Leaders Summer Camp”, held in collaboration with INJAZ Bahrain and in strategic partnership with Ministry of Industry and Commerce, Ministry of Youth Affairs, and Mastercard. The camp ran from 20 to 31 July 2025.

The closing ceremony, hosted at HQ by Hope in Seef Mall – Manama, was attended by Her Excellency Ms. Rawan bint Najeeb Tawfiqi, Minister of Youth Affairs, Ms. Fatema AlAlawi Chief Executive Officer of Bahrain Islamic Bank, Her Excellency Ms. Eman Ahmed Al Doseri Undersecretary of the Ministry of Industry and Commerce, Ms. Hana Sarawani Chief Executive Officer of INJAZ Bahrain and representatives from the partnering entities, senior officials from supporting organizations, and all the winning students from the camp, whose ages ranged between 7 and 15 years.

Organized in part by the students themselves in a creative and engaging format, the ceremony included the recognition of the Bank’s strategic partners and collaborating entities in appreciation of their vital contributions to the success of the initiative. The event also celebrated the winning teams of the Camp Challenge in both the primary and intermediate levels, during which students showcased their final projects, reflecting a high level of financial awareness, creativity, and teamwork.

“Future Leaders Summer Camp” is part of BisB’s ongoing commitment to promoting financial literacy and fostering a culture of entrepreneurship and innovation among children and youth. Through a series of interactive and educational programs, the Bank aims to help shape a financially informed generation capable of making sound decisions.

The camp also sought to introduce students to key sectors of the national economy, including industry, commerce, and financial services, while inspiring them to explore diverse career paths. Its objectives align with Bahrain’s Economic Vision 2030, which emphasizes empowering young individuals and preparing them to lead strategic non-oil sectors, thereby contributing to sustainable national economic growth.

Her Highness Shaikha Hessa bint Khalifa Al Khalifa, Chairperson of INJAZ Bahrain commented: “At INJAZ Bahrain, we believe in nurturing young minds through experiential learning that empowers them with real-world skills.
