Russian business delegation to visit Bahrain in December
Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) Chairman Khalid Al Moayed yesterday announced that a Russian business delegation would visit Bahrain in December, in a bid to enhance the business ties between both the countries.
Affirming all support to the visit, Al Moayed said, “The current volume of trade between Bahrain and Russia, which amounted to US$1.9 million up to July 2015 according to Bahrain Central Informatics Organisation, is below aspirations, and we aim to take the trade and all business activities to a new height”.
Al Moayed said this while receiving Arbi Abubakarov from the Committee of external relations of Saint Petersburg in the Chairman’s office in Bait Al Tijjar yesterday in the presence of CEO Nabeel Al Mahmood, BCCI officials and representatives from the Capital Governorate.
The current visit follows a visit by BCCI to Russia in October to invigorate business relations and activate various agreements and memorandums signed.
