Two men arrested for human trafficking

Two men have been arrested in connection with human trafficking, the Public Prosecution announced in a statement.
They will stand trial before the High Criminal Court, as per the statement which revealed that the suspects landed in the police net after an Asian woman reported to police that she was locked up in an apartment and was forced into prostitution.
Her body was severely wounded owing to the successful attempt she made to flee the building through the apartment window.
The woman was held up with her workmate who was working with her as a maid.
They were serving at the same house, and the duo deceived them by offering them better wages for working as cleaners on an hourly basis.
The Public Prosection pointed out that the two suspects were questioned, after which they were charged with human trafficking.
They will be detained, pending their trial before the High Criminal Court.
Meanwhile, the two women were kept at the Dar Al Iman.
