Man in dock for COVID-19 violations

Legal actions were taken against a 50-year-old man for violating measures implemented to prevent the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic in the Kingdom. In a statement, the Muharraq Governorate, Police Directorate, said official actions followed the spotting of a video clip of the incident doing rounds on social media platforms.
The top cop said the person violated COVID-19 preventive measures, insulted an on-duty public employee, prevented him from performing his official duties, and misused social media. Interior ministry in a tweet on its account @moi_bahrain confirmed the incident.
