Medicines home delivery service to begin Sunday

Salmaniya Medical Complex (SMC) announced yesterday a new home delivery service for prescribed medicines.
The service, which will be activated from Sunday, is a part of precautionary measures implemented by the Kingdom to curb the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19), and to ensure the health, safety and comfort of patients. SMC management indicated that those wishing to benefit from the e-service shall provide the patients’ required information through the link on the Health Ministry’s website moh.gov.bh/eServices/pharmacy.
They will then get their medicines within 48 hours of receiving the order. This service will not include controlled medications and medicines dispensed from health centres, SMC said, noting that it will cover the remaining public health facilities soon
