Bahraini man to visit America to showcase Bahraini pearl

 A Bahaini national, will travel to United States of America (USA) to spread awareness about Bahraini pearl to the west.

 Pearl enthusiast Hassan Al Malik will travel to USA to promote Bahraini pearl to the country.

  The Bahraini pearl has long been regarded as one of the best in the world. However, there is a general feeling that the awareness about Bahraini pearl is on the decline.

 And so, pearl enthusiast Hassan Al Malik, has set out to help the Bahraini pearl establish its name as “the best in the world.”

 Al Malik is visiting USA as part of the ‘This is Bahrain’ delegation representing Manama Traditional Market Committee. The delegation is expected to promote Bahrain in numerous ways, including display of Bahrain’s culture and traditions.

  “Bahrain’s pearl is amazing, it is an honour for me to be able to showcase it in another country” he told DT News.

 Manama Traditional Market Committee Deputy Chairman Mahmood Al Namliti, along with Al Malik, has erected a stand to showcase Bahraini pearl and other significant items.

  Al Malik was chosen to make the trip on behalf of Manama Traditional due to his passion for pearls and his around marketing and organizational skills.

 “Al Malik will be the lone representative from our side who is travelling to America. We chose him because he is very passionate about pearls he is an all-rounder. Our motive is to promote Bahrain to boost tourism, ” Al Namliti said.

 “We will have a photo-exhibition of the pearl at our stall, besides a wide range of literature about Bahrain. We have been cooperating with the Bahrain Tourism Authorities to decide the right way to market Bahrain. They have provides us with pamphlets, books and other sources of information about the Kingdom. We also have some gifts to be distributed as as souvenir,” he said.
