Longstanding Saudi ties stressed at meeting

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander, and First Deputy Prime Minister, yesterday met His Royal Highness Prince Turki bin Mohammed bin Fahd Al Saud, Minister of State and Member of the Cabinet of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

During the meeting, HRH the Crown Prince highlighted the longstanding ties between Bahrain and Saudi Arabia, noting the importance of further strengthening co-operation across a wide range of fields. HRH the Crown Prince, and HRH the Minister of State and Member of the Cabinet reviewed ways to further strengthen relations, and discussed a number of regional and international issues of common interest.

For his part, HRH the Minister of State and Member of the Cabinet of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia expressed his appreciation for HRH the Crown Prince’s support in advancing Bahraini-Saudi relations. The Minister of Finance and National Economy, Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, and HRH the Crown Prince’s Private Secretary, Shaikh Abdullah bin Isa Al Khalifa, also attended the meeting.
