Campaign set to clear East Riffa Market of posters
The Southern Governorate has commenced a cleanup campaign to rid East Riffa Market of illegal posters plastered on and around the infrastructure.
The campaign made efforts to clear the East Riffa market of poster and bills promoting various services and offers including unlicensed businesses.
The market place along with the adjacent polls, traffic signals and residential properties bore numerous posters which distract drivers, hamper the appearance of the venue and pose as a hazard to the public.
Violators use the walls of power plants and few private properties to promote and market their unlicensed business activities, leaving a trail on the walls after the posters were removed.
The violators are to face appropriate legal charges for their actions that have distorted and affected the aesthetics of the area.
