Probe urged into expat’s death
The family members of an Indian expatriate who passed away recently under mysterious circumstances have urged the authorities to carry out a thorough probe into the death. The uncle of the deceased Indian national Abu Talib, 30, said his nephew died after consuming poisoned food, served to him by a “friend turned foe”.
He said Abu had earlier informed his wife that some people were trying to harm him.
“We are certain that it was not suicide. He was poisoned. We were aware that he was being troubled by some of his friends and one of them poisoned him to death.”
