Bahrain students win big in Huawei ICT Global Final
Bahraini students came out with flying colours in the recently concluded Huawei ICT Competition Global Final in Shenzhen, China. Bahrain team, comprising Waleed Yousef Al Busmait, a Bachelor of Science in Mechatronics Engineering (BSME) student of AMA International University – Bahrain (AMAIUB), together with two students from other universities, was ranked third in the competition.
The event held in Shenzhen, China from 25-26 May 2019 witnessed the participation of several teams from around the globe. Waleed and his team bagged second place in the Huawei ICT Competition Middle East in China last year. Huawei ICT Competition attracted more than 100,000 students from over 1,600 colleges and universities in 61 countries this year.
