Bahrain set to unveil world’s largest underwater park post Eid Al-Fitr

Minister of Industry, Commerce and Tourism has Bahrain geared up to welcome the world’s largest underwater theme park as the attraction is set to unveil post Eid Al-Fitr 2019.

Mr Zayani stated that the eco-friendly attraction is being implemented in accordance with the highest environmental standards and international best practices in the field of environmental sustainability thanks to the collaboration with Supreme Council for Environment.

The theme park will elevate the Kingdom’s status as a leading tourist destination.

‘’It will include the establishment of the largest diving park in the world, covering an area of 100,000 square meters. The dive site will have a 70-meter long decommissioned Boeing 747 as its centerpiece, the largest aircraft ever to be submerged under water compared to other similar projects in the world’’
