After weeks of school holidays and playing, it’s Back to School time for children in Bahrain. As the new school year begins with a whole new excitement, Seef Mall adds to the joy with SEEFARI adventures – an ultimate experience offering a range of themed activities and crafts.
True to its theme, SEEFARI adventures offers a world of imagination for kids aged 5-12 years with Seef Mall transformed into an adventurous safari area with lush greenery and wildlife animal murals. Organized in the West Wing of Seef Mall until 26th September, SEEFARI is an integrated learning experience offering fun, physical activity and edutainment to help its young visitors learn more about the safari life while triggering their natural curiosity and imagination.
The SEEFARI adventures feature a line-up of entertaining activities created in the wildlife and surroundings of the safari which have been translated well into art & craft activities and obstacle courses for kids with fun gifts up for grabs. These feature the SEEFARI challenge where kids will need to look for animals cut-outs across the mall based on the clues provided and name the animals they find. Kids with correct answers will win special Back to School giveaways.
Moreover, SEEFARI obstacle courses for kids will set them off on an exciting wildlife adventure including crawling through tunnels, rowing through a log cave, swinging from a jungle swing, wading through a ball-pit or hoop hopping. Children can also indulge themselves by having their faces painted with their favourite animals and play popular games like ‘pin the tail’ and putting jigsaw pieces together to create different animals. These activities will be open to kids on weekdays, Sunday to Wednesday from 4 pm – 8 pm and during the weekends, Thursday – Saturday from 10 am – 10 pm.
Additionally, kids visiting Seef Mall’s SEEFARI will also be treated to classic cartoon films like The Lion King and The Land Before Time to name a few and educational videos about wildlife and nature conservation. The Animal theatre will be open on weekdays, Sunday to Wednesday from 4 pm – 8 pm and during the weekends, Thursday – Saturday from 10 am – 10 pm. And if this is not enough, kids will have a chance to attend interactive storytelling sessions on the jungle life.
