Philippines Embassy welcomes Brave CF world champion

Stephen Loman, Bantamweight world champion at Brave Combat Federation alongside Rolden Loman and Mark Sangiao visited the Philippines Ambassador, Alfonso A Ver. Stephen Loman is the only fighter from Philippines to compete in the eighteenth edition of Brave Combat Federation taking place on 16th November in the Kingdom of Bahrain.

During Brave 9: The Kingdom of Champions held in Bahrain in 2017, Loman became the youngest world champion ever in Brave Combat Federation. He was crowned as the world champion by HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al khalifa. Stephen Loman is the only representation from Philippines during Brave International Combat Week 2018 which marks the largest combat sports event in Asia. During Brave 18, Loman will defend his world championship against Felipe Efrain from Brazil.

During his visit to the embassy, Loman was greeted by members of expatriate community from Philippines. Loman expressed his willingness to pursue his studies in criminology to serve his country and the society. Loman became the first mixed martial artist from Philippines to defend a world championship in the United Kingdom when he defended his title against Frans Mlambo during Brave 13 hosted in Belfast.

“I am grateful towards my country and countrymen for the support and motivation that helps me to achieve more. Also at Team Lakay we are taught valuable lessons of discipline, determination and respect. I have prepared well to give my best at Brave 18 and to bring honour to my nation”, said Stephen Loman.
