Apply for polytechnic courses

Manama : Bahrain Polytechnic yesterday started accepting applications for the academic year 2018-19. 

Applications this year will be accepted only through online process. Last day of accepting application will be 4th June 2018.

“The applicant would just need to fill the online application form through the Polytechnic website (http://www.polytechnic.bh), pay the application fee (BD 20 non-refundable) online by debit or credit card,” said Ahmed Malalla, Bahrain Polytechnic’s Director of Registry

Applicants are also required to submit the following documents: an original and copy of passport and smart card, one passport size photo, high school transcript, evidence of good conduct (not more than one-year-old), medical examination certificate from the governmental health centre. 

“The Registry Directorate will then verify the documents, go through the selection process, and send emails to the applicants with the date for the entry tests,” said Malalla. 

Applicants are required to apply to more than one educational institution to ensure the potential applicant does not miss the opportunity for higher education. 

“Applicants who meet the minimum high school GPA requirements of at least 70% (to be provided with the graduation certificate), and pass the entry test scheduled to begin on 23rd April 2018 are not guaranteed to be selected, as it depends on the programme requirements and the number of vacant seats in that year,” he added.

Bahrain Polytechnic offers the following academic programmes: Bachelor of Business, Bachelor of International Logistics Management, Bachelor of Information and Communications Technology, Bachelor of Engineering Technology, Bachelors of Web Media, Bachelor of Visual Design.
